About The Position
Goodwill Industries of Akron, OH is looking to hire a Shipping Clerk. This role involves assisting in the day-to-day operations of the ShopGoodwill.com department by performing various shopping and packaging duties. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for packing and shipping materials to ensure damage-free delivery, printing shipping labels, and tracking all items shipped through the ShopGoodwill.com tracking system. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Awareness of quality merchandise
- Familiar with packing/shipping procedures
- 1-2 years of retail sales experience
- Familiar with collectibles and antiques
- Basic Computer Skills
- Good communication skills
- Able to work efficiently with an awareness of what is going on around you
Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the ShopGoodwill.com department by performing various shopping and packaging duties as assigned.
- Pack and ship materials for damage free shipping.
- Print shipping labels and track all items shipped through tracking system on ShopGoodwill.com.
