About The Position

Health Systems Cooperative Laundries is currently hiring for a FULL TIME Shipping Associate to join their team. The schedule for this position is Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, with Thursday and Saturday off. The hours are 3:30 PM to 12 AM, with mandatory overtime. The role is responsible for scanning, weighing, and recording every cart or package of finished product before it is shipped to the client hospital. Additionally, the associate must properly position the finished carts in the correct order and staging location at the loading dock. A key responsibility also includes inspecting the carts and linens to ensure a high level of finished product quality.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of safety standards.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with an attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to work and communicate in a richly diverse environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Perform repetitive motions throughout the shift such as push, pull, and lift.
• Energetic, self-starter.
• Basic ability to read, speak, and understand English.
• Attendance is an essential function of the job.
