About The Position
The Stine family, including 3 generations of Stine family members, together with hundreds of associates, work side by side together toward providing the nation's best home improvement shopping experience and premier preferred workplace of its kind. Our retail and contractor supply locations provide thousands of quality products for new construction, remodeling, and industrial projects. Stine helps customers associates, and families build their dreams! The shipping clerk is a position that is responsible for deliveries and shipping equipment. Efficient time management that includes meeting deadlines and commitment to company service standards are necessary. Scheduling, organizational skills and building material knowledge and experience are required. This person will schedule all deliveries and manage the electronic delivery system (DDMS). Requires the ability to interact and communicate well with customers, all store personnel, and management.
Requirements
- Basic education that includes ability to competently read and write
- A minimum of one-year experience in the building industry
- Knowledge of building industry
- Efficient time management
- Meeting deadlines
- Commitment to company service standards
- Scheduling skills
- Organizational skills
- Ability to interact and communicate well with customers, all store personnel, and management
