About The Position

Avtec Finishing provides metal finishing services for customers in the medical, aerospace, defense, and industrial manufacturing sectors. The parts we process help support products used every day—from aircraft components and medical equipment to industrial hardware. We're growing and looking for a dependable Shipping & Receiving Clerk / Forklift Operator to help keep materials and finished products moving efficiently throughout our facility. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1+ year of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or forklift experience preferred
• Forklift certification is a plus
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Basic computer and typing skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to read a tape measure and analog clock
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Must pass a basic math test within 10 minutes to move on to the interview phase.
• All employees must adhere to strict security policies including restrictions on personal electronic devices, access control, and documentation procedures.
• The Lindgren Group must comply with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations). These regulations may restrict persons of non-US citizen status from working/participating/observing/or other forms of gathering knowledge about certain activities within the company.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using a forklift
• Move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility
• Receive incoming customer and vendor shipments
• Verify and maintain shipping and receiving documentation
• Package and prepare completed orders for shipment
• Coordinate shipping activities with UPS, delivery services, and LTL carriers
• Deliver scheduled orders to production departments
• Retrieve completed work from production and return it to shipping
• Maintain accurate inventory and warehouse records
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse protocols
• Assist with other shipping, receiving, and warehouse duties as assigned
