The Shipping Clerk is responsible for preparing, processing, and managing outgoing shipments to ensure accurate and timely delivery. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, shipping platforms)
- Effective communication and teamwork
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of shipping software and systems
- Familiarity with inventory management practices is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company standards
- Verify order accuracy, including product quantities and shipping information
- Generate shipping labels, invoices, and other required documentation
- Maintain detailed shipping records and update tracking information
- Inspect shipments for damage, accuracy, and completeness before dispatch
- Assist with loading shipments onto trucks or delivery vehicles
- Monitor inventory of shipping supplies and reorder as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve shipping issues, delays, or discrepancies
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures
