About The Position

Taylor Warehouse & Fulfillment, a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for a 1st Shift Shipping Clerk to join the team at our Jeffersonville, IN, facility. This role involves performing quality control, preparing orders for shipping, utilizing PC-based systems, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 25lbs. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Experience with UPS and FedEx software

Responsibilities

Perform quality control review of each order
Check-in orders
Aggregate and package/prepare orders for shipping via parcel and LTL carriers
Utilize PC-based systems to prepare shipping documents and labels
Maintain a clean working environment and maintain equipment needed to ship orders timely
Follow safety requirements for the position
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment
Records shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability
Completes shipping reports
