As a Shipping Clerk, you will sort and organize completed prescriptions and prepare product for shipment. This is a great career opportunity in a Long-Term Care Pharmacy. Requirements

Ability to multi-task and work with other members of the shipping and distribution team as well as Pharmacists and Technicians
Understanding of basic production processes for packaging and shipping
Ability to develop continuous improvements in the shipping department
Basic understanding of, or the ability to learn, locations and organizational structure of the company
Ability to correctly sort and distribute large amounts of medications
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
Ability to complete projects in a timely manner
Ability to work with little oversight and/or guidance
Must be able to speak and write English

FedEx Shipping / Overnight Shipping Experience
Experience working in a Commercial Pharmacy

Responsibilities

Sort and organize completed prescriptions
Use Pharmacy operating software and Dispatch and Routing software
Use handheld Scanner to capture bar code digital information
Prepare packages for delivery: print Packing Lists, inspect for accuracy, stage, and route
Performing other duties as assigned
