About The Position

Royal Switchgear Manufacturing (a Maclean Power Systems Company) is seeking a Shipping Clerk responsible for processing outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, operating forklifts and material-handling equipment, and ensuring all warehouse activities meet safety, quality, and productivity standards. The successful candidate will require safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other material-handling equipment, along with strong computer and organizational skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years experience with LTL and full truckloads/flatbeds
• 1-2 years of shipping in a manufacturing environment.
• Forklift experience and/or certification required (or ability to certify upon hire).
• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems (such as SAP, Epicor, Oracle, JDE or similar).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data entry.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse work.
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate use of required gaging instruments and the application of such instruments
• Ability to regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Schedule outbound shipments with freight broker
• Schedule outbound shipments using TMS system
• Invoice (ship) orders in ERP system
• Maintain clean and organized storage areas, racks, and shipping lanes.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Use ERP systems for tracking inventory movements.
