Shipping Clerk/ Inside Sales Admin
About The Position
Tarkett Sports is seeking a Shipping Clerk / Inside Sales Admin to support operations at our Recycling Facility in Wilkes Barre, PA. This role oversees shipping and receiving coordination, sales administration, and warehouse inventory while serving as a key liaison between project managers, vendors, customers, and internal teams. The position also supports facility operations and acts as the on-site safety liaison. Requirements
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)
- Customer service experience and ability to work independently
- Forklift operation required
- Ability to multitask in both office and warehouse environments
Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including scheduling pickups/deliveries and managing freight logistics
- Maintain accurate shipping documentation, ERP data entry, and inventory records
- Communicate with truckers, brokers, vendors, and customers to ensure timely shipments and strong relationships
- Support project managers with recycling service quotes and project tracking
- Manage warehouse inventory, quarterly counts, and facility consumables
- Assist with general warehouse operations, including loading/unloading trucks when needed
- Promote safety and collaborate with the external safety team
