About The Position

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipping Clerk Assistant. The ideal candidate will assist the shipping clerk in managing outgoing shipments and ensuring that all products are carefully packaged and shipped in a timely manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of basic computer software and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a shipping or warehouse environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all shipping documents are accurately completed and filed properly.
• Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries.
• Perform inventory checks to ensure that all products are accounted for and properly stored.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and organized shipping area.
• Provide support to the shipping clerk with various tasks as needed.
