About The Position

Responsible for daily shipment of product and documentation of shipments. Works closely with Customer Service representatives to ensure shipments meet customers' ever-changing priorities. Counts product, transacts order in ERP system, and prepares shipping documents. Maintains inventory of components and issues them to work orders. Selects appropriate packaging to ensure product is received with no damage. Assembles boxes, foam and other packaging materials. Prints and affixes labels to product. Maintains inventory of packaging and shipping supplies such as labels, trays and boxes. Keeps Shipping area clean and organized. Identifies opportunities for improving Shipping processes. Assists in other areas as assigned e.g. Receiving, Lapping, Clean Room etc.

Requirements

• Computer skills (Excel, Labeling Software, Outlook, ERP System)
• Knowledge of shipping programs by UPS/FED EX etc.
• Good written and verbal communication
• Problem solving

• Attention to details
• Work well in a team environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be either; US Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the US, or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Nice To Haves

• Two years of shipping experience preferred
• Experience working in an ISO 9001 Quality System is preferred.
