About The Position

The shipping auditor is responsible for checking and supervising all designated products before they are loaded into trailers. This role involves counting and double-checking every case, filling out required forms for tracking audits, and communicating effectively with selectors/pickers regarding incorrect product. The auditor must also communicate with dispatchers, leads, coordinators, and supervisors if additional support is needed. A key responsibility is to double-check dates to ensure they match the paperwork and to complete all paperwork accurately, legibly, and in a timely manner with all required information. The position also requires ensuring safety by using load bars to prevent trailer load movement and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). As part of the food safety team, the individual must understand the Food Safety Statement, complete required training (including GMP, HACCP, facility security, visitor policy, and mandatory safety training), perform work assignments competently, and request additional training as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Check and supervise all designated products before being loaded inside the trailer.
  • Count and double check every case that comes before his/her eyes.
  • Fill out the required forms to keep tracking of his/her audits.
  • Effectively communicate with selectors/pickers when the wrong product is brought to the door.
  • Communicate with dispatchers leads, coordinators and supervisors if support is needed.
  • Double check dates and make sure matches the paperwork he/she is working on.
  • Ensure all paperwork is fill out completely in an accurate and timely manner, clear, legible and with all the required information.
  • Ensure safety by using load bars to prevent load to move inside the trailer.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Understand the Food Safety Statement.
  • Complete required training (GMP, HACCP, facility security, visitor policy, mandatory safety training).
  • Perform work assignments in accordance with training and display an acceptable level of competency with all Quality Assurance/Safety/Security policies and training requirements.
  • Request additional and refresher training if he/she feels that is needed to effectively perform his/her tasks.
