About The Position

As a Shipping Attendant with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling all equipment used in the loading and packaging of bulk and bagged cement.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 1–year of industrial, shipping, or manufacturing experience.
  • Experience operating mobile equipment (e.g., forklifts).
  • Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain loading, packaging, and material-handling equipment for bulk and bagged cement.
  • Load railcars and trucks, complete documentation, and collect required product samples.
  • Ensure product accuracy and quality and maintain the correct distribution of products in containers.
  • Perform inventory and material-handling tasks, such as tracking materials and receiving inbound product.
  • Operate mobile equipment safely in accordance with site procedures.
