The Shipping Associate is responsible for the expedient and accurate handling of outgoing customer shipments. Attention to detail, ability to work within a team, strong communication skills, and easily adapts to change. Responsibilities

  • Review IRIS (Inventory Tracking System)
  • Work with other shipping associates to prioritize the daily work
  • Confirm materials with packing slips and ensure secure shipments
  • Ensure correct inventory is picked
  • Escalate shipping issues as needed
  • Use digital printers and pallet jacks
  • Maintain clean and safe shipping stations and inventory aisles
  • Complete post shift cleanup duties
  • Assist other departments as needed and perform additional duties as assigned
  • Possesses an intermediate level of technical proficiency to utilize internal and external software tools for prioritizing shipments, ensuring efficient workflow and on time shipments
  • Adhere strictly to processes and review digital job tickets with attention for detail, ensuring quality products, high accuracy, and low spoilage
  • Operate and maintain equipment, including digital printers and pallet jacks, safely and effectively while managing a high volume of work
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule 40 hour work week
  • Perform physical tasks required for the shipping position, including standing for 8–10-hour shifts, lifting and transporting objects weighting up-to 40 pounds, and executing a variety of functional movements such as grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, twisting, bending, stooping, and climbing.
