About The Position

Imperial Dade is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to join their team in Loxley. This role is responsible for operating an order-picker to retrieve and ship stocked merchandise to fulfill customer orders that are shipped via various freight line carriers. The company is a leading distributor of foodservice packaging and janitorial supplies in North America, serving over 120,000 customers through a network of 130+ branches.

Requirements

• Ability to learn and operate ERP system
• Ability to operate and complete a tow motor, order-picker, and pallet jack certifications
• Ability to lift and carry 60 lbs; ability to pull 2200 lbs using a pallet jack and pull or push 200 lbs using a two-wheeler
• Ability to stand and be in motion at all times. Flexible enough to walk, twist, bend, stoop, pull, grip and lift merchandise
• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Warehouse experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate an order-picker to retrieve stock
• Prepare orders for shipping
• Stack and wrap merchandise on pallets
• Check the packing list against the merchandise for accuracy
• Inspect merchandise for damage
• Load palletized merchandise on various freight line carriers’ trucks
• Manage shipping vendor returns
• Maintain records of outbound shipments
• Frequently inspect material handling equipment to report any mechanical issues
