Requirements

Basic computer knowledge and usage skills.
Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.
Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs.
Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times in areas where required.
Ability to work in a wet and cold environment (45ºF, 4ºC).
Ability to stand for an 8 hour shift.
Will be exposed to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Identifying incoming loaded trucks and assisting with dumper and loader positions.
Monitoring offal trailers and reporting when they will need to be moved; ensuring all valves on offal trailers are closed.
Picking up strays on property and hanging pen.
Relieving dumper position when regular associate on break.
Loading product onto outgoing trucks.
Following all safety and quality procedures.
Working in compliance with all company policies, GMP’s, FSMA regulations and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.
Performing all work in compliance with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.
