About The Position

The Shipping Associate processes, packages, and ships orders; manages stock and inventory; inspects products and shipments; and helps maintain an orderly, safe warehouse. The role is scheduled weekdays from 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Compensation is up to $20.35 per hour.

Requirements

• Proven warehouse experience.
• Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
• Adequate knowledge of warehouse data systems.
• Team-player approach and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift or move heavy products.
• High school diploma.
• Computer skills, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process, package, and ship orders accurately.
• Organize stock and maintain inventory.
• Inspect products for defects and damage.
• Examine incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Organize warehouse space.
• Receive, unload, and appropriately place incoming inventory items.
• Check, verify, and fill customer invoices.
• Follow company safety and hygiene regulations.
• Suggest ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized daily.
