About The Position
Inter-State Studio is a family-owned school photography and yearbook company that has been successfully serving schools for 90 years. By listening to the needs of our customers and utilizing the latest technologies, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality school portraits and yearbooks with affordable pricing and excellent service. We are looking for a detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join our manufacturing team in Sedalia, Missouri. In this role, you will be responsible for packing, documenting, and preparing a variety of items for shipment to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. You’ll work closely with other team members to coordinate shipments, maintain quality standards, and support the smooth flow of products through our shipping process.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills, navigating various programs
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, stacking, and moving materials
Nice To Haves
- Previous shipping or warehouse experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Pack a variety of items according to established work instructions
- Document necessary shipping information accurately and completely
- Coordinate and pack items and supplies
- Assist with the final approval process for outgoing shipments
- Stack materials onto pallets or conveyors for transport
