About The Position
The Shipping Helper is responsible for assisting with general warehouse operations. These include line work, stacking boxes, and dock support. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth flow of shipments, maintaining organization, and supporting the overall efficiency of the shipping department.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate keen attention to detail and task-related accuracy, as well as consistent follow-through skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Team oriented and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision when needed.
Nice To Haves
- Prior warehouse or shipping experience is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Assist with stacking and organizing boxes on pallets.
- Support the dock team with loading and unloading shipments.
- Ensure proper handling and movement of goods within the warehouse.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping area.
- Ensure compliance for GMPS, SOP’s, safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.
