About The Position

Filterbuy, Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Shipping Associate for a long-term position in Ogden, UT. The role involves assembling custom filters, preparing orders by processing requests, pulling material, packing boxes, and loading orders onto trucks. The associate will ensure filters are suitable for shipment using hands and machines with great precision. A strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely are crucial. This role reports to the Shipping Supervisor and operates Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, with potential for overtime.

Requirements

• Prior experience in manufacturing and/ or warehouse work preferred.
• Ability to use tools and machines.
• Good understanding of quality control principles.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Willing and able to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear).
• Attention to detail.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.
• Prolonged periods working on feet and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent grasping, bending, walking, reaching, twisting, and pivoting.
• Consistently stretch/ reach with both hands and arms.
• Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and box filters.
• Ability to bend, squat, and lift frequently.
• Lift up to 40 pounds, frequently.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures.
• Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process.
• Take precision measurements to ensure accurate assembly of custom filters.
• Scan and sort outgoing stock.
• Prepare orders by processing requests; pulling materials; packing boxes; loading orders into trucks.
• Maintain equipment in good condition.
• Report on issues, malfunction, or defective parts.
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, packing area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Other tasks as assigned.
