Requirements

  • One-year experience loading freight by hand in a manufacturing/warehouse setting
  • One-year experience with RF/Handheld scanners
  • Candidate must be able to work up to twelve hours in a shift Monday through Friday with mandatory Saturdays; work hours are dependent on work flow and season of the year
  • Will require standing, walking and working on concrete surfaces for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Loading window units into trucks using carts and hand carts and stacking units safely and securely
  • Pulling units from staging bays using a pick sheet and loading onto carts
  • Scanning units onto truck using handheld scanners
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate with other team members
  • Staging window units from production lines into staging bays
  • Assist in other areas in the department as needed—housekeeping, unloading trailers, etc
  • Wear proper safety equipment and follow all safety protocols
