About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the Pharmacy Support Manager, this role is responsible for packing and shipping prescriptions following all shipping procedures. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and adherence to company policies and HIPAA guidelines. The role also involves maintaining a clean and stocked work area and assisting with other duties as assigned by Eagle Management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift 20lbs
• Ability to work in a standing environment
• Ability to communicate effectively, patiently, and courteously
• Focused team player, who can work in conjunction with pharmacists, other departments, and management
• Work Independently with little supervision and meet daily deadlines
• Ability to perform repetitious work accurately.
• Ability to handle multiple activities or interruptions at once.
• Attention to Detail.

Nice To Haves

• One-year minimum of shipping/receiving experience

Responsibilities

• Accurately pack and ship prescription orders for Eagle Pharmacy in a timely manner.
• Follow all procedures and each step on the packing and shipping checklist when packaging or shipping an order.
• Responsible for stocking freezers with ice packs.
• Respect and maintain confidentiality guidelines of HIPAA.
• Responsible for keeping area clean and adequately stocked with boxes and supplies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for other duties as assigned by Eagle Management.
