About The Position
Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Shipping Associate for their 2nd shift operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the timely and accurate distribution of products. The position is Monday - Friday, 2:30pm - 10:30pm.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50lbs, stack/unstack or carry, stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods of time.
- Comfortable in a warm working environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to work Nights, Weekends & Holidays.
Nice To Haves
- 1-3 Years of shipping experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Accurately loading and unloading trailers.
- Verifying route load(s) and trailer reports.
- Maintaining the shipping yard.
- Counting and checking products for accuracy and quality.
- Maintaining accurate records.
- Reporting overages and shortages.
- Participating in "Cycle Counts".
- Operating material handling equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
- Troubleshooting issues with packing equipment, label machines, tapers, and palletizers.
