About The Position

The Shipping Associate fills orders, counts, loads, and unloads products on incoming trailers according to the shipping schedule. The role requires demonstrating competency in on-the-job activities that may affect product safety, legality, or quality. It is physically demanding and involves using a hand truck to transport stacked products weighing up to 400 pounds for distances of up to 300 feet throughout the day, including into and out of transport trucks and up and down 30-degree slopes. The position also requires stooping, bending, and lifting product containers weighing 20 pounds from floor level to 7-1/2 feet. The associate maintains a clean work area and follows company policies and procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Demonstrated ability to read, comprehend, and record information applicable to the job.
Ability to transport stacked products weighing up to 400 pounds with a hand truck for distances of up to 300 feet, including on 30-degree slopes.
Ability to stoop, bend, and lift 20-pound product containers from floor level to 7-1/2 feet.
