About The Position

This position reports to the Department Lead, Warehouse Supervisor, or Logistics Manager. The Shipping Associate is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities. This role performs functions pertaining to the operations of the shipping/receiving area and placement of all inventory.

Requirements

• Ability to gain knowledge of shipping/receiving paperwork and procedures.
• Ability to read and write legibly.
• Forklift Certification required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to gain knowledge of company products.
• Comply with quality, environmental, safety and Jost company policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

• One-year on the job experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift.
• Inspection of product and paperwork for shipment.
• Packaging and/or skidding of finished product for shipment.
• Loading and unloading trucks or carriers.
• Placement of incoming parts and inventory.
• Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned, and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position.
