About The Position

Responsible for verifying the accuracy of customer orders and preparing the orders for shipment. The schedule is Thursday-Monday, 10am-7pm weekdays and 7am-4pm weekends.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Must be able to pass background check and drug test
Reading and comprehending customer orders, policies and procedures
Acute attention-to-detail and problem-solving skills
Proficient with basic computer applications
Basic math (division, addition, subtraction) to calculate yardage and order amounts
Exhibits a sense of urgency.
Can balance both speed & accuracy of their work.

Responsibilities

Plastic wrap items that need protection.
Verify orders are complete and accurate using WMS system to scan barcodes of items as applicable.
Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging, including packaging items in correct container based on product, shape, size, and destination.
Weigh parcel.
Create and print a shipping label.
Verify shipping information is correct.
Verify any customer questions or comments have been addressed.
Perform final checks for defective items and/or mistakes.
Maintain high level of quality of packaging products.
Sort packages and place in proper shipping locations.
Operate paper-feeder and/or tape machine as needed.
Maintain neat and orderly work areas.
General housekeeping as required maintaining a safe workplace.
Ensure that errors are minimal, and the frequency meets within acceptable guidelines.
Achieve designated individual and/or group shipping quotas. These may be daily and/or hourly quotas.
Other responsibilities as assigned, including, but not limited to, working in alternative departments as needed.
