About The Position

Prepare valves and other such items for shipment, including making tags and working on the Shipping Line.

Requirements

• Data Entry skills.
• Attention to detail and organization skills.
• Must be punctual and have a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to use a pallet jack.

Nice To Haves

• Previous knowledge of shipping is a plus.
• Ability to operate a forklift is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Entering basic information into computer software to engrave tags that will be attached to the valves.
• Drill holes into caps and affix wires and tags to valves.
• Fold and secure boxes to be used at the end of the Shipping Line.
• Read specific instructions written on Work Orders and apply as necessary.
• Visually inspect valves and tags for quality.
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts as needed to move around items in Shipping.
• Employee may be required to work more or less than 40 hours/week as part of their regular schedule based on production needs.
