About The Position

This role involves pulling and packaging orders for staging and loading onto trailers. The associate will accurately process paperwork to complete orders through the system, ensuring maximum utilization of truck space without compromising the quality of parts. A major emphasis is placed on quality and accuracy in this position.

Requirements

• Must be forklift certified.
• Must be able to safely operate a forklift.
• Must have basic mathematical skills.
• Must have basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel.
• Must be able to physically perform job duties, which requires heavy lifting with or without accommodation.
• Must have a good attendance record.
• Must be able to work the necessary overtime when required, which may include weekends.
• Must be able to work any shift, which may include weekends.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to use a scanner.
• Must be able to use company operating systems and basic Microsoft applications.
• Must be able to distinguish color.

Nice To Haves

• Basic Microsoft office applications and company operating and or MRP/SAP systems.

Responsibilities

• Interpret daily orders, pull and package orders for staging and/or loading on to trailers.
• Accurately process paperwork to complete orders through the system.
• Package and load orders to ensure the maximum utilization of truck space without compromising quality of parts.
• Accurately pull, package, and stage orders to meet on-time delivery and quality targets.
• Prevent damage during transport.
• Accurately record, scan and maintain paperwork.
• Perform other duties as required.
