About The Position

Silvus Technologies, a leading provider of advanced MANET and MIMO communications systems, is reshaping mesh network technology for mission-critical applications – on the ground, in the air and at sea. Its battle-proven StreamCaster family of MANET radios and proprietary MN-MIMO waveform provides the vital communications link for defense, law enforcement and public safety agencies around the world, and in the toughest operational environments. From pure line-of-sight to extreme non-line-of-sight, Silvus radios form a self-healing, self-forming mesh network, enabling secure and reliable connectivity, including video and high-bandwidth data. Silvus Technologies is a wholly owned subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, Inc. This role is for a Shipping Associate-I to manage outbound shipments, including inspection, packing, and paperwork. This role also involves handling inventory, coordinating transportation, and ensuring timely deliveries. This position reports to the Shipping Manager and is fully on-site, Monday through Friday, from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm. The location for this role is at Silvus Technologies’ Warehouse in the heart of vibrant Culver City.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience using systems and software like FedEx, UPS, and DHL.
  • Experience with shipping, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience shipping commercial goods to international destinations.
  • Highly proficient in Google Suite and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced office environment, meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Must have a current, valid driver’s license and possess a clean driving record without traffic violations.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.
  • Employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of outbound shipments, including inspection, packing, and accurate preparation of shipping documentation for both domestic and international orders.
  • Manage packaging material inventories, ensuring adequate supply for shipping needs.
  • Manage the packaging and shipping process of customer orders, as well as the handling of logistics for trade shows.
  • Coordinate transportation and carrier services to ensure timely delivery schedules.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary
