About The Position

Cardinal Health's Operations team is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. This includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management, and demand, supply, and manufacturing planning. The role involves performing and controlling manual or automated tasks for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products, encompassing functions like receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, and storage. The primary goal is the efficient flow of products from receipt to shipment, meeting prescribed service parameters for various customers. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, with potential for overtime based on business needs. The Associate II, Warehouse Operations assists with Inbound or Outbound activities as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, productivity, and operational standards. This role involves receiving products in the Inbound section and shipping products in the Outbound section.

Requirements

Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly

Responsibilities

Unloads trucks in the Inbound section by using a pallet jack or equivalent devices to put pallets out of the trucks.
Uses Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products.
Follows regulations to store refrigerated products if working with specialty products.
Stores products in warehouse locations using an order picker or other devices.
Picks products from warehouse locations and loads them into outbound trucks.
