About The Position

Under the direction of the Shipping Supervisor, the Shipping Associate plays a critical role in ensuring finished products and materials are accurately prepared, inspected, packaged, and shipped to customers and partners. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment, values precision and safety, and enjoys hands-on work that directly supports operational success and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification
  • Previous warehouse, shipping, logistics, or related manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret shipping documents such as bills of lading, invoices, shipping reports, and related documentation
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, and percentages
  • Familiarity with computers and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to safely operate shipping tools, hand tools, power tools, air tools, and packaging equipment
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently while supporting team goals in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate power tools and shipping equipment to pack, crate, blanket wrap, and prepare products for shipment
  • Perform final quality and quantity inspections on outgoing shipments to ensure orders are complete, accurate, and undamaged
  • Label and identify products according to shipping and departmental procedures
  • Package goods for small parcel, common carrier, and other shipment methods while ensuring all required documentation is accurate and complete
  • Perform accurate inventory transfers using scan guns and ensure proper product identification and stock issuance procedures are followed
  • Use tape measures and measurements accurately in packaging and shipping preparation processes
  • Complete required shipping paperwork, records, and documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Support internal teams by ensuring projects are completed efficiently and materials are prepared to quality expectations
  • Maintain housekeeping standards and follow all safety rules, procedures, and work practices
  • Assist with additional shipping and warehouse responsibilities as business needs require
