About The Position

The Shipping Assembly Operator is responsible for picking and sorting product from inventory to fill orders, packaging orders for shipment according to customer requests, and verifying order accuracy. This role also involves maintaining packaging supplies inventory and assisting in special projects and studies as requested. The operator will perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in direct manufacturing
• Good organizational skills and ability to follow directions
• Proficient in math, reading, and computer skills
• Must be able to remain standing or sitting for up to two hours at a time over the course of an 8 to 10-hour period
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Must have exceptional finger dexterity
• Must be able to work with small parts for extended periods of time

Nice To Haves

• Previous shipping experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Pick and sort product from inventory to fill orders
