About The Position

The Shipping Clerk / Warehouse Flex role is responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality, accuracy, and safety in all shipments. This position verifies order accuracy, prepares shipments, maintains detailed documentation, and adheres to regulatory standards (DOT, IATA, IMO) while contributing to a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 months of shipping or relevant warehouse experience
High school diploma preferred; GED accepted
Strong organization skills in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and accuracy
Basic math, reading, writing, and comprehension skills
Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal instructions
Adaptability to new processes and procedures
Basic computer proficiency

Responsibilities

Accurately verify and validate customer orders to achieve 100% shipment accuracy
Efficiently pick and stage materials from warehouse inventory using pick lists to meet daily throughput targets
Package shipments to ensure product integrity, damage prevention, and on-time delivery
Maintain precise shipping records and documentation in compliance with internal and regulatory requirements
Operate shipping systems (e.g., WorldShip, Ship Manager) to process orders quickly and accurately
Generate and validate shipping labels, invoices, and bills of lading to ensure compliance and traceability
Strictly adhere to DOT, IATA, and IMO regulations to ensure safe and compliant transportation of goods
Follow ISO standards and internal quality procedures to maintain operational consistency and audit readiness
Sustain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant workspace to support efficient warehouse operations
Safely operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, reach trucks, order pickers) to optimize workflow efficiency
