About The Position

Bill Estes Ford is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to join their team. This role is crucial for managing the flow of parts within the dealership's supply chain. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, energetic, and committed to providing an exceptional parts-buying experience. As a key team member, you will be responsible for receiving and stocking inventory, inspecting shipments, maintaining physical inventory, managing warranty claims, and ensuring customers are notified of special order parts. This position requires the ability to handle physical demands and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift, bend and carry parts and accessories that weigh upwards of 75 pounds
  • Must be able to follow instructions while working safely and efficiently in a fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail is required
  • Must be at least eighteen years of age
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background and drug test)

Responsibilities

  • Receipt and stock in all parts orders
  • Inspect shipments and receipt for quantity and damage if applicable
  • Maintain physical inventory by keeping stock in correct locations, sealable condition and free of safety hazards
  • Maintain all parts shelves are stocked using the space available in an efficient manner
  • Maintain warranty claims in accordance with dealership guidelines
  • Notify the parts manager of any parts that are received damaged or missing
  • Maintain a special order file and ensures that all customers are notified of the receipt of their parts.
  • Notify the appropriate service manager when the special order parts that were ordered have been received
