About The Position

Atlas Machine & Supply is hiring a Shipping and Receiving person to be a key member of our Supply Chain team, supporting the fast-paced Compressed Air industry. This role provides overall support to the shipping and warehouse department. Requirements

• High School diploma or its equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehouse and shipping is desired.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Required to have the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and stand on feet for long periods of time, may stoop, bend and twist repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for receiving all incoming packages.
• Coordinate shipments including common carrier and UPS pick up or deliveries.
• Stock all incoming supplies and parts.
• Maintain parts inventory.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Perform essential material handling responsibilities including operation of the fork truck and operation of overhead crane.
• Prepare pack lists and bill of ladings.
• Keep warehouse organized.
• Responsible for checking rental equipment in or out.
• Provide additional support as needed in the warehouse or shipping areas.
• Follow all company policy and procedures.
• Adhere to and promote safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
