About The Position
This role involves the core responsibilities of receiving, shipping, inventory control, logistics coordination, and ensuring safety and compliance within the warehouse environment. Training will be provided, including on-the-job forklift training.
Requirements
- Ability to unload trucks.
- Ability to inspect shipments for damage/discrepancies.
- Ability to enter goods into an inventory system.
- Ability to package and label items for shipment.
- Ability to generate packing lists and BOLs.
- Ability to update inventory records.
- Ability to perform cycle counts.
- Ability to organize the warehouse.
- Ability to schedule carriers.
- Ability to manage freight.
- Ability to communicate with vendors or internal teams.
- Ability to follow safety protocols (OSHA).
- Ability to maintain a clean work area.
- Forklift operation (certification not required, training provided).
Responsibilities
- Unloading trucks and inspecting shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Entering received goods into the inventory system.
- Packaging, labeling, and preparing items for shipment.
- Generating packing lists and Bills of Lading (BOLs).
- Updating inventory records and performing cycle counts.
- Organizing the warehouse for efficient flow.
- Scheduling carriers and managing freight.
- Communicating with vendors or internal teams regarding logistics.
- Following safety protocols, including OSHA guidelines.
- Maintaining a clean work area.
