About The Position
Petroflex is seeking a capable and motivated individual to join our fast-paced Transportation Department as a Shipping & Receiving Associate. This role is essential to ensuring the efficient and safe loading and unloading of freight, maintaining accurate inventory, and supporting overall logistics operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a shipping/receiving or pick/pack environment is helpful
- Forklift experience is highly desirable but not required
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in inclement weather conditions
Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight on trailers safely and efficiently
- Stage materials for shipment and maintain accurate inventory locations
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (training provided if needed)
- Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of materials
- Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving goals
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
