About The Position

This role is responsible for performing daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments. The position involves inspecting and verifying received materials, maintaining proper documentation in the NetSuite ERP system, processing customer orders, and coordinating with carriers. Additionally, the role includes inventory control responsibilities such as put-aways, cycle counts, and assisting with audits. The work environment is a manufacturing setting with exposure to forklifts and other warehouse equipment, requiring the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Pioneer’s software systems: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.), NetSuite ERP system, and FreightView.
  • Knowledge of inventory control procedures, freight coordination, and OSHA safety standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

  • Forklift or pallet jack certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Inspect and verify received materials against packing slips and purchase orders for accuracy, condition, and completeness.
  • Ensure proper documentation for all shipments and receipts is completed in Pioneer’s NetSuite ERP system.
  • Process pick & ship customer orders and warehouse transfer orders efficiently.
  • Ensure all materials are pulled, packed, labeled, and shipped in accordance with Pioneer’s service standards and customer expectations.
  • Coordinate with carriers and freight companies to schedule pickups.
  • Resolve order or delivery issues proactively to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver or retrieve materials and equipment from customers or vendors as needed.
  • Perform material put-aways of received inventory materials, ensuring correct storage locations and accurate inventory system recording.
  • Deliver materials ordered for active jobs to the appropriate facility area with proper documentation and notification.
  • Pull stocked materials required for active jobs and route to the appropriate facility area with proper documentation and notification.
  • Participate in weekly cycle counts and full inventory audits.
