A shipping and receiving clerk handles incoming and outgoing packages.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Driver’s license

Responsibilities
- Check freight in
- Put stock away
- Help pull orders
- Keeping accurate records
- Packaging and weighing items
- Printing shipping labels and postage
- Inspecting goods received for damage, and distributing products to other departments
- Keeping warranty up to date and clean
- Lift and move up to 75 pounds
- Pull vans in at night
- Find homes for special order parts
- Maintains composure in dealing with fellow employees
- Fill in for in-town driver when needed
