About The Position

Peter Boulware Toyota Parts Department is growing and has an opening for an additional Shipping and Receiving Warehouse Clerk. This is an entry-level position that requires extreme attention to detail. The role involves daily lifting of 50-100+ pounds and requires an individual who can work inside and outside. The pay consists of a salary plus departmental commission.

Requirements

• A clean driving record and valid driver’s license is REQUIRED.
• Must present themselves in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers.
• Must be dependable and reliable.
• Must be able to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work inside and outside.
• Must have basic computer knowledge.
• Professional appearance is necessary.
• Excellent attention to detail or organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Opening up the department: turn off alarm, turn on lights, clock into DMS, start Remstars.
• Stock order processing: checking in orders, separating parts by department (collision center, wholesale, 2nd floor, customer SOR, stock), attaching SOR cards/printouts, and placing parts in appropriate areas.
• Putting stock away: loading Remstar and back counter, ensuring SOR parts are tagged with labels facing out, and putting upstairs parts up last.
• Monitoring for new parts added to the system daily that require bin location assignment.
• Running Remstar parts recon report daily after parts are put up and orders are posted.
• Processing outside vendor/delivery packages (UPS, FedEx, Dealer Tire, etc.) similarly to stock orders, noting accounting or dealer-addressed packages.
• Performing occasional hotshot runs for parts deliveries and pickups.
• Processing core returns in a timely manner (excluding warranty/goodwill issues).
• Processing returned parts from wholesale or the collision center daily.
• Maintaining a neat, clean, and organized warehouse.
• Taking pride in the workstation and treating it as personal property.
• Putting warranty parts in correct locations.
• Recycling cardboard boxes and taking trash to the dumpster daily.
• Shipping packages online via FedEx.
• Pulling the monthly obsolescence return.
• Working on the Parts counter during lunch rotation.
• Purging SOR parts once per month on a 30-day cycle and handing SOR cards to management for processing.
• Adapting to additional tasks as the business requires.
