About The Position
This role involves managing the flow of goods within the warehouse, including receiving, shipping, inventory management, quality control, and equipment operation. The associate will be responsible for unloading trucks, verifying invoices, storing items, picking and packing products for shipment, maintaining accurate inventory records, inspecting products, and operating warehouse equipment.
Requirements
- Good driving record
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 LB box
- Proficient driving a Forklift
- Valid Driver's License
- Attention To Detail
- Proficient In Microsoft Programs (Office, Outlook, Xcel, Word, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written Communication Skills
Responsibilities
- Unloading delivery trucks
- Verifying incoming goods against invoices
- Noting shortages or damage
- Properly storing items
- Picking, packing, and preparing products for shipment
- Creating necessary shipping documents like bills of lading
- Maintaining accurate inventory counts
- Updating inventory records
- Performing regular physical inventory checks
- Inspecting incoming and outgoing products for damage or discrepancies
- Handling any quality issues that arise
- Driving company vehicles
- Using equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move and store goods
- Using manual or computerized systems to document all shipping and receiving activities
