About The Position

The Shipping and Receiving/Warehouse Associate handles incoming and outgoing goods, inventory records, product inspections, and warehouse equipment. Requirements

• Proficient in driving a forklift.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft programs, including Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Unload delivery trucks and verify incoming goods against invoices, noting shortages or damage.
• Store incoming items properly.
• Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment.
• Create shipping documents, such as bills of lading.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts, update records, and conduct regular physical inventory checks.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing products for damage or discrepancies and address quality issues.
• Use forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move and store goods.
• Document shipping and receiving activities using manual or computerized systems, including Microsoft Office programs.
• Drive company vehicles as needed.
