About The Position

This role ensures customer shipments are filled on time and in the correct quantities. The technician will read, understand, and use Product Manufacturing Instructions (PMI’s), Job-Safety Analysis’ (JSA), and schedules to accomplish daily shipping and receiving tasks. Operating shipping and receiving computer systems, fork trucks, and associated equipment is required. The position also involves ensuring inventory accuracy by performing basic math and maintaining an organized workspace. The technician will collaborate cross-functionally between operations, engineering, sales, and quality, and will maintain equipment and housekeeping within the work environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Must be able to read, comprehend and understand work instructions
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
• Basic computer skills are required
• Must be able to operate fork truck, stock picker, electric hoist, scales, and label machines
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
• Must be able to complete forklift certification within 60 days of employment
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, hand and finger manipulation, occasional stooping, crouching, and climbing
• Must be able to wear a face respirator
• Must be either a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder) or otherwise classifiable as a U.S. person under relevant regulations.
