About The Position
This position is responsible for the shipping or receiving of product and entering the related information into our shipping or receiving program and logs. The role requires flexibility in scheduling to accommodate business needs and the ability to work with little or no supervision. Teamwork and adherence to company policies are essential.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills to enter loads into the system
- Must be certified in-house on forklift, crane, and Rico
- Must maintain a good safety record to operate equipment
- Must complete bay location change forms on a daily basis
- The ability to adhere to the company’s policies, rules, and regulations, according to the employee’s handbook

Responsibilities
- Shipping or receiving of product
- Entering shipping or receiving information into the program and logs
- Operating forklift, crane, and Rico in a safe fashion
- Documenting all shipments and/or loads received
- Documenting daily equipment checklists in a timely manner
- Communicating with outside carriers and accommodating their needs
- Working with other employees as a team to meet deadlines
- Ensuring lunch is taken between the 5th hour of work and punching in/out for lunches
- Maintaining area in a clean and orderly fashion by the end of each work day
- Willingness to help in any department to cover business needs
- Willingness to progress to the next level and learn other job functions in the department
