About The Position

This position is responsible for shipping or receiving of product and entering the related information into our shipping or receiving program and logs. The role requires flexibility in scheduling to accommodate business needs and the ability to work with little or no supervision. It also involves ensuring lunch breaks are taken within the 5th hour of work and properly punching in and out for these breaks.

Requirements

Basic computer skills to enter loads into the system.
Adherence to the company’s policies, rules, and regulations as outlined in the employee handbook.
Must be certified in-house on forklift, crane, and Rico.
Must maintain a good safety record to operate equipment.

Responsibilities

Operate forklift, crane, and Rico in a safe fashion.
Enter shipping or receiving information into the shipping or receiving program and logs.
Document all shipments and/or loads received.
Document daily equipment checklists in a timely manner.
Communicate with outside carriers and accommodate their needs promptly.
Collaborate with other employees as a team to meet deadlines.
Maintain a good safety record while operating equipment.
Complete bay location change forms on a daily basis.
Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly fashion by the end of each workday.
Willingness to help in any department to cover business needs.
Willingness to progress to the next level and learn other job functions in the department.
