About The Position

This role is responsible for overseeing shipping and receiving operations, ensuring compliance with food safety and personal safety policies. The position involves managing daily tasks, leading and developing employees, ensuring production schedules are met, and managing cost considerations. The supervisor will also be involved in people management, including corrective actions and employee evaluations. The role requires working in a cold environment and potentially traveling or relocating seasonally.

Responsibilities

Comply with CS Basic Policies (TRN-0101, TRN-102, TRN-103, TRN-104, TRN-105, TRN-106)
Follow all OSHA requirements for lift truck operation
Report all deficiencies to management
Transport all materials to designated areas
Move products manually and/or as required
Able to travel or relocate seasonally
Report all injuries, large or small
Demonstrate attention to detail
Provide data reports to management
Communicate with management and other departments
Must be able to make independent decisions
Lead and develop hourly employees and production team
Ensure completion of the production schedule
Manage cost considerations
Assist hourly team leads with people management, such as corrective actions
Participate in evaluations for hourly employees
Work in a cold, wet environment (34-36°F)
