About The Position

DK Turbines is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Stockroom Clerk to ensure inventory is accounted for, undamaged, and allocated to the proper areas. This role involves maintaining thorough records of items shipped or received, tracking inventory changes, and ensuring a clean and safe stockroom environment. The clerk will be responsible for packaging and shipping various items, receiving shipments, maintaining and stocking supplies, and performing assigned tasks by the Manager. Additionally, the role requires operating lift trucks or hand trucks, performing necessary computer functions for parts tracking, and reporting defective materials or questionable conditions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• A valid unrestricted driver’s license, clean driving record
• Experience in packaging parts shipments
• Employees are regularly required to, stand, sit, talk, hear and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard
• Moderate to heavy lifting is required (up to 60lbs)
• Must be able to climb and use a ladder, work stands, platforms and lift equipment
• Work within a confined workspace(s)
• Must be available full-time
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• A Valid Unrestricted Driver’s License Required

Responsibilities

• Packaging and Shipments of various items
• Receiving shipments
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Maintain and stock various supplies
• Perform tasks as assigned by Manager
• Operates lift trucks or hand trucks
• Performs all computer functions necessary to track various parts
• Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the manager
