About The Position

This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day omnichannel order fulfillment operations, including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory staging. This role ensures that the team meets performance standards for speed, accuracy, quality, and safety—while supporting the inbound flow of raw materials needed by production. As a working leader, you will coach Shipping and Receiving Specialists, coordinate daily workflow, and ensure that all outgoing orders reflect the brand’s standards for presentation and product protection. You will also play a key role in preparing the commissary for peak retail seasonality.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in fulfillment, warehouse operations, or logistics.
  • Experience with pallet jacks and pallet movement.
  • Strong understanding of picking/packing processes.
  • Leadership, coaching, or shift lead experience.
  • Ability to maintain speed and accuracy under high volume.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in omnichannel fulfillment or artisan product environments
  • Familiarity with WMS or digital scanning systems
  • Knowledge of receiving processes and FIFO inventory storage

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations for picking, packing, staging, and shipping omnichannel orders.
  • Assign tasks to Fulfillment Technicians and ensure all team members meet productivity KPIs.
  • Monitor real-time order volume and adjust workflow to ensure on-time fulfillment.
  • Oversee receiving of raw materials, packaging, and supplies.
  • Use and supervise safe handling of pallet jacks and palletized goods.
  • Verify inbound shipments, inspect materials, and complete receiving logs.
  • Manage disposal of inbound waste including cardboard, pallet wrap, and dunnage.
  • Perform QC spot checks to ensure order accuracy, proper labeling, and packaging integrity.
  • Ensure all shipments reflect brand-approved packaging standards.
  • Investigate errors, damages, or mis-picks and implement corrective actions.
  • Train new team members on SOPs, safety procedures, systems, and equipment.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance support.
  • Assist in scheduling, planning coverage, and supporting peak volume surges.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative, and quality-focused team culture.
  • Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment following 5S principles.
  • Uphold safety guidelines for lifting, equipment use, and material handling.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and workflow reliability.
  • Communicate with Production, Procurement, and Operations regarding inventory levels and material needs.
  • Report KPI performance, receiving discrepancies, or workflow obstacles to leadership.
