About The Position
The Shipping & Receiving Lead will manage warehouse receiving, shipping, and inventory, optimizing logistics for efficiency. This role involves adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), identifying and solving problems to improve performance, and documenting critical information such as weights, batch numbers, lot numbers, and quality checks. The position also requires cleaning machinery and work areas, performing simple Material Requirements Planning (MRP) transactions, and assisting in production areas as needed.
Requirements
- Experience working in a Warehouse setting.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Basic mathematical understanding.
- Ability to read, understand and follow oral and/or written instructions such as work instructions and SOPs.
Responsibilities
- Follow all SOPs to perform job.
- Identify and help solve problems to improve performance.
- Documenting weights, batch numbers, lot numbers, and quality checks.
- Cleans machinery, room, and all auxiliary machinery during full, partial, and back-to-back cleanups.
- Adherence to all cGMP’s.
- Perform simple MRP transactions.
- Manage shipping and receiving.
- Manage warehouse inventory and cleanliness.
- Help in production areas as needed.
- Other duties as needed.
