About The Position

Millat Industries, a family-owned manufacturing company celebrating 60 years of success, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Floater at our Huber Heights location. This role is for a driven individual who wants to make a real difference at a stable, innovative, and rapidly growing precision machining company. The Shipping & Receiving Floater is a cross-trained associate who supports shipping, receiving, inventory, and material handling operations throughout the manufacturing facility. This role fills in where needed to maintain workflow, ensure on-time shipments, and support accurate material movement across the plant. Adaptability, attention to detail, and safe equipment operation are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Must have valid Ohio Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Must stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to floor
• Lifts between 10 and 80 pounds on occasional basis
• Quality oriented and conscious
• Always adheres to Company safety policies
• Requires decision making skills
• Exhibits characteristics of good role-model
• Reliable with excellent attendance record
• Required to wear company-furnished uniforms and required personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pack, label, and verify outgoing shipments
• Generate shipping labels and BOLs
• Receive and inspect incoming materials
• Enter receipts accurately into ERP/system
• Load/unload trucks using forklift or material handling equipment
• Pick-up/Delivery of products to customers or suppliers in Company box truck
• Move raw material, WIP, and finished goods as needed
• Maintain organized stock locations
• Assist with cycle counts and staging materials for production
• Crosstrain and fill in during absences or peak production
• Maintain clean, organized work areas (5S)
• Follow all safety policies and perform other duties as assigned
